Volunteering Opportunities:
There are volunteering opportunities in various Triveni programs and projects. Students can get involved in one or more of the following activities and earn volunteering hours.
Event | Hours per event (approx) | Events in a year | Total volunteering hours |
---|---|---|---|
Monthly temple event | 3 | 11 | 33 |
Ganesh Chaturthi temple event | 10 | 1 | 10 |
Food shelter | 3 | 12 | 36 |
Triveni cultural event | 10 | 3 | 30 |
Triveni youth committee meetings | 1 | 12 | 12 |
Triveni youth committee meetings with executive committee | 1 | 6 | 6 |
Learning beyond limits (remote teaching for kids in Maharashtra) | 1.5 | 30 | 45 |

The Triveni initiatives offer enough opportunities for our young adult students to reach silver level of certification. Triveni will also consider volunteers hours from other non-profit organizations if students have already exhausted volunteering opportunities in Triveni. Triveni should be able to verify volunteering hours with the organizations for whom this volunteering was done for.
Prerequisite:
Student’s family should have Triveni family membership to participate in this program.
