 The
Maharashtrian New Year - Gudi Padwa
was ushered in by Triveni by
screening a movie "Navra Mazaa
Navsacha". The program kicked off
with 'Gudi Ubharne' with 'Gudichi
Pooja', with the children being
present for the opening 2
ceremonies. This was followed by the
Pre sident's welcome address to the
attendees. Then it was time for the
hilarious comedy Navra Mazaa
Navsacha that was tremendously
enjoyed by one and all at the huge
Mason High School Auditorium.
The committee had organized for the
children to make a Gudi and after
the 40 minute exercise, got to play
a marathon session of Mazha Aaicha
Patra Haravala. The 2 hour session
was topped off by screening a
Hanuman movie for them.
The Triveni Committee's Sugran's
prepared a lavish spread and mouth
watering delicacies comprising of
Puranpoli, Vatanyacha Ghughrya,
Kanda & Batata Bhaji, Flowerchi
Patal Bhaji, Batata Bhaji, Masale
Bhat,Koshimbeer & Bhaat Waran.
Overall a great experience for one
and all - all happy campers - the
organizers (Triveni Committee), the
attendees and of course our children
too.
