This year Triveni celebrated the festival of Diwali on a grand scale, with more social as well as religious connotations on the 28th of Oct 2006.
                                               All our members welcomed Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth and prosperity to bring in brighter future and prosperity for friends and families.

The venue was designed with floral decorations, lanterns, and our very own Shivajicha Killa.
 

                              To begin with the kids recited sholkas with much devotion to Goddess Lakshmi. Triveni is so thankful to the little souls for such a warm beginning. The program was then followed by a Lavni Medley presented by our Lavnyavatis & Nartakis. The performances brought screeching wolf whistles & " Once More " chants.
 

Triveni says," for sure each and everybody around there had the time of their lives " when our members performed a small play " Jevha Yam harla ".

                          
                           The Zestful Lavnis further set the stage for " Jevha Yam harla " an in-house production by our own natak mandali.

Triveni is very thankful to all our participants who poured in all the love and ebullience to celebrate diwali enthusiastically, and also wishes each & everybody,
